Summary: Luminor remembers the past and a failed love affair.
Author’s Note: This is my FIRST ever Cinema Bizarre fanfiction. This is a one part episode unless you all think I should maybe write more than that!

The long dark haired boy, opened his pale blue eyes. Sleep, for him, did not come easy these days. Not ever since he had messed things up.

He sat up and rubbed his temple with his left hand. The clock on his bedside table read 4:26 am. He groaned loudly, knowing he probably wouldn't get back to sleep; he pulled himself out of bed.

As he straightened up, he caught sight of himself in the mirror. When had he started to look this old?

He found himself in his elegantly decorated living room. Taking a seat on his sofa, he lit himself a cigarette.

Whilst his eyes focussed on nothing in particular, his mind only focussed on one thing; the past. It was a strange, haunting thing, the past; taunting you with memories that you could never change -wish as you might- and leaving you with a sunken, hollow feeling.

Things had been very different when he had been with Shin. The younger boy had always been prepared to stay up and listen to anything troubling Luminor, with a keen and caring ear. He had also done his up most to fill the void in Luminor's heart and preoccupy his mind.

But in order for Shin to understand his friend's strange behaviour, Luminor would have to open up to the younger boy; something Luminor -because of his past- found most difficult.

Shin never liked taking 'no' as an answer. He often continued to question Luminor in an attempt to sympathise with his friend's pain.

But Luminor never seemed to answer enough. He often felt that his younger friend was being too intrusive. It left Shin feeling pushed away.

One night, the difference of opinion amongst the pair came to a head. It ended with a lot of hurt on both sides and with Shin leaving, shortly after announcing that things were over.

As big as the void Shin had filled with his presence, he left behind when he called things off.

Luminor picked up an old photograph of the pair. He took a long hard look at it; the happiest he'd ever been and the happiest he'd probably ever be. That struck Luminor as the funniest thing about the past; it filled you with so many regrets.

Luminor stubbed out his cigarette and wiped his eyes before slowly allowing them to close.

That's the same with me, sometimes I just wanna finish a fanfiction but with all the thoughts I get I can't because I wanna put it all down and then it makes it an even longer fanfic.

Yeah, totally! And you struggle to think of what happens next because everything you've planned has happened and because you can't think of anything else you tend to have to extend what you planned in later chapters. Smile
