what inspires you? with inspire i mean that no matter if you writte, paint, draw or just genreally in life. Events, music, movies, pictures, people, animals which ever is good, so please post away

Well I'm mainly a fanfiction writer and I sometimes get inspired by songs or other fanfictions or films... and by that I mean yoink some ideas from them.

Um...for me; songs, movies and poetry! I also try roleplay on MSN and have a read of the magazines that are laying around, even if they are a summer 05 issue of Metal Hammer!

An amazing band will inspire me just like TH has done....

apart from that i think relaxing with amazing views to scower just sends me else where and loves it!

Mmm *Nods* Tokio Hotel have powerful lyrics and that can certainly be inspirational.

music is a huge sorce of inspiration to me aswell, i have a think it is pretty much universal, i usually find mine in not only powerful lyrics, but also what my guttermind make of silly lyrics...

It's always good when your inspiration flows; stupid adverts on TV give me gutterminded thoughts....*Insert stupid sheepish grin here*

true true... but it suposedly works differently for different people whiwh is why i made this thread in the firstplace so i get to see if i can find inspiration i others inspiration and other find it in mine if that made sense i don't know but yeah

i tend to avoid tv adthingies i get itchy when i see them....

I think it was a good idea to post this thread. I'm sure we'll all give each other ideas somehow. Snowy, gives me the most random ideas from conversations we've had ages ago!

Haha, I don't see much of TV but I watch it if LOST is on or if Doctor Who is. And then there is always adverts.

yes i get ideas from all sorts of places, mostly friends talking (and people saying inocent things that turn smuty in my head....)

i mostly watch dvds there is never really anything good on these days....

I get ideas mostly from music...

*nods* seems like it is a common thing, maybe i should start a songlist from inspirational songs in the start of this thread.... or something... what do you think?

Yeah go for it! I mean there are so many songs that mean a lot to me and that can be helpful when writing fiction...or when I've got an idea that I'm working on and a song fits it really well!!

I like to write fanfiction and what inspires me most are songs and pictures. Sometimes, I listen to a song and then I write a fanfiction telling the story of the song. Some pictures really get to me and when I see them, the story just flows...

i am currently into writing to vioce music, like i have a recording of someone just talking or reading the phonebook what ever and then i writte what that vioce should tell the story i want that voice to express, it is funny but strange, so if you feel uninspired try it out!

you mean in voice or music? actually there is the intro to a song that is awsome.... it is by from outset crisis on youtube there is a fan vid that useses it the intro voice is awsoe and the song is great aswell

well i put on a interview on youtube with someone, kiro have a awsome voice you can hear the the drama and rain in it when he speaks.....
